Second Annual TASTE of HUDSON Food Festival September 11, 2010

Posted on 18 August 2010 | Comments Off

Taste of Hudson poster between second and third street on Warren, Saturday, September 11, 2010The second annual Taste of Hudson  food festival will be held on Saturday, the 11th of September from 11 am until 2 pm.  Organized by the members of the BeLo 3rd group, this year’s event features over 20 city of Hudson restaurants, caterers and food retailers participating. According to BeLo 3rd President, Kevin Moran “when looking for an event that BeLo 3rd could host and include the Hudson business community, a street fair seemed to be an optimum way to get attention.  Upon further discussion a food festival like the Taste of Chicago was agreed upon and Taste of Hudson was born.”

This year’s participants will offer “tastings” of select menu items that highlight the diverse cuisine and dining opportunities in Hudson.  Food lovers can graze their way through appetizers, entrees, gourmet coffee, teas, cheeses and desserts. Tickets will be sold on location the day of the event.

Dave Colby, President and CEO of the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce says “Taste of Hudson gives visitors yet another reason to come to the city to shop BeLo 3rd Warren Street and beyond.  It’s good for all businesses .”

Max Cenci, co owner of Ca M’ea  Ristorante and a sponsor of this year’s festival says “ we had so much fun doing Taste last year that we just had to do it again this year.”

Taste of Hudson will be held rain or shine under the big tent located on Warren Street between 2nd and 3rd.  “Last year’s inaugural event was a huge success and we hope this year will be as well” states Moran, “after all everyone loves food!”
