BeLo3rd and its Galleries Host Hudson Musicfest
Posted on 05 August 2011
Thanks to the Hudson Musicfest, in partnership with Hudson Black Arts and Cultural festival, this weekend Warren Street will be awash in music and celebration. BeLo3rd is participating in the “three days of music in Hudson, outside and inside, daytime and nighttime” in a number of ways.
While the plans are still being finalized, eight galleries on Warren Street belo3rd will extend their Saturday hours: BCB Art, JDamiani, Gallery at Tommy’s, Open Studios Hudson, Limner Gallery, CCCA Gallery and two receptions: Gallery 135 and Davis Orton Gallery. During that time, musicians will move about, playing in front of the galleries. (Updates to follow)
Also, J. Damiani Gallery is sponsoring one of the seven tents on Warren Street with music all day. Mod, Vico’s, Daba, and Basilica Hudson are hosting music and there will be many events in Henry Hudson Riverfront Park.
In addition to the galleries and music venues, BeLo3rd – the organization- and BeLo3rd businesses are Hudson Musicfest Sponsors. BeLo3rd is a “Music Lover” ($250) as are J. Damiani Gallery, Lilli and Loo, Lick, Cafe Le Perche, the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, Daba, and Vico’s. Basilica Hudson is a “Virtuoso” with a $2500 contribution.
